Kakavand District ( ku, نامچەی کاکاوەن fa, بخش کاکاوند) is a district (bakhsh) in Delfan County, Lorestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 23,598, in 4,574 families. Kakavand District has one city Haft Cheshmeh, Delfan. A ( fa, بخش, also romanized as ) is a third-level administrative division of Iran. While sometimes translated as "county," it is more accurately translated as "district," similar to a township in the United States or a district of England.
