Ansumana Jaia Kaikai
Honorable Alhaji Ansumana Jaia Kaikai is a Sierra Leonean politician and the deputy minority leader of Sierra Leone Parliament. He is an elected member of Parliament from Pujehun District, representing constituency eighty seven. He is a prominent member of the Sierra Leone People's Party (SLPP). He is also the parliamentary chairman of the privileges and ethics committee. Ansumana Kaikai is currently the longest serving member of the Sierra Leone Parliament. He was first elected to parliament in the 1996 Sierra Leone Parliamentary elections. He has easily won re-elections by large margins in 2002, 2007 and 2012 parliamentary elections. Linus Kaikai is a Kenyan journalist currently working as Director of Strategy and Innovation of Kenyan Television station Citizen TV and Chairman of the Kenya Editors Guild KEG. Education career Kaikai holds a master's degree in International Journalism, from the Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. He initially worked for the Kenya Television Network until June 1999. Kaikai then spent 8 years working at the South African Broadcasting Corporation rising through the ranks from correspondent to Bureau Chief. Alhaji Moijueh Emmanuel Kaikai is a Sierra Leonean politician and the Sierra Leone Minister of Social Welfare, Gender and Children's Affairs since 2013. He had previously served as the resident Minister of the Southern Province, and Deputy Minister of Labour. KaiKai was one of the founding members of the People's Movement for Democratic Change (PMDC) political party in 2005, a breakaway faction of the Sierra Leone People's Party (SLPP). Septimus Kaikai
Septimus Kaikai (born in Kailahun, Kailahun District) is a retired Sierra Leonean politician and academic. He served as Presidential spokesman between 1997 and 2002, and as Minister of Information and communications (Sierra Leone), Minister of Information and Broadcasting from 2002 to 2007 in former president Ahmad Tejan Kabbah's second term in office. Kaikai is a member of the Mende people, Mende ethnic group and a native of Kailahun District in Eastern Sierra Leone. In 2010, Kaikai was appointed as the first chairman of the board of trustees for Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) by President Ernest Bai Koroma. Kaikai studied at Towson University. He taught business at Catonsville Community College as a tenured Economics professor before returning suddenly to Sierra Leone in 1998. He has a brother, Alpha Y. Kaikai (ferry)
''Kaikai'' was a " K-class" ferry on Sydney Harbour. Commissioned in 1907, the timber- hulled steamer was built for Sydney Ferries Limited during the boom in cross-harbour ferry travel prior to the 1932 opening of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. At the time of launch, ''Kaikai'' was one of Sydney's largest wooden ferries, being the longest and second largest by tonnage. She was a typical example of the "K-class"; a group of double-deck, double-ended, steam-powered screw ferries. ''Kaikai'' was built for the short but busy cross-harbour route between Circular Quay and Milsons Point. She survived the 1932 opening of the Sydney Harbour Bridge (17 other Sydney Ferries Limited vessels were sold at the time).
