Kaiden Brand
Kaiden Brand (born 8 April 1994) is an Australian rules football player who plays with the West Adelaide Football Club in the South Australian National Football League. He previously played with the Hawthorn Football Club and Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League. AFL career Hawthorn selected him with pick 66 in the 2012 AFL Draft. He spent 2013 developing in the VFL playing for Hawthorn's reserve affiliate side, the , and was a member of their premiership winning side. In between seasons Brand bulked up considerably, played every game for 2014, mainly at full-back and performed well at Box Hill. Brand has elite pace, has the ability to play on talls and smalls and has solid foot skills. Brand dislocated his left shoulder in the opening minute of his NAB Cup debut in 2015. Berri, South Australia
Berri is a city in the Riverland region of South Australia. It is 238 kilometres north-east of Adelaide, the capital of the state of South Australia and a few kilometres west of the SA-Victoria border. It is primarily an agriculture, agricultural and viticulture, viticultural city on the north bank of the Murray River. It is the original home of a juice company, Berri Ltd. History The name "Berri" is from the local Australian Aboriginal, Aboriginal tribe, Meri, meaning "a wide bend in the river". The area was first explored by European settlers when Charles Sturt navigated the Murray River. Its first impetus for settlement came when paddle steamers came down the River Murray and a refuelling stop was developed. This was to become Berri. 2014 AFL Season
The 2014 AFL season was the 118th season of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest level senior Australian rules football competition in Australia, which was known as the Victorian Football League until 1989. The season featured eighteen clubs, ran from 14 March until 27 September, and comprised a 22-game home-and-away season followed by a finals series featuring the top eight clubs. The premiership was won by the Hawthorn Football Club for the twelfth time and second time consecutively, after it defeated by 63 points in the 2014 AFL Grand Final. Pre-season NAB Challenge The AFL abandoned the NAB Cup competition, replacing it with the NAB Challenge series.
