Kahlil Lewis
Kahlil Lewis (born August 31, 1997) is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He was selected with the 15th overall pick in the 2nd round of the 2020 XFL Draft. In the summer after his senior year of college, he spent time on the Seattle Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons roster before being waived a week before the season began. Lewis played four years of college football at the University of Cincinnati from 2015 to 2019. Early life and high school career Lewis grew up in Miami, Florida. His father passed away when he was three years old. Lewis attended Miramar High School, where he played football and basketball. He averaged 15 points per game on the basketball court but decided to focus on football in college. The Louisville Cardinals football team represents the University of Louisville in the sport of American football. The Cardinals compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Louisville had played several years at club level and teams were mostly composed with medical students. The XFL is a professional American football minor league consisting of eight teams located across the United States in mid-sized to major markets served by at least one other major professional sports team. Seasons run from February to April, with each team playing a ten-game regular season, and four progressing to the playoffs to crown a season champion. It is headquartered in Arlington, Texas. The Los Angeles Wildcats (LA Wildcats) were a professional American football team based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. The team was founded by Vince McMahon’s Alpha Entertainment and is an owned-and-operated member of the new XFL. The Wildcats played their home games at Dignity Health Sports Park. On July 24, 2022, the XFL confirmed that the Wildcats would not return for the 2023 XFL season. The 2018 Military Bowl was a college football bowl game that was played on December 31, 2018. It was the 11th edition of the Military Bowl, and was one of the 2018–19 bowl games concluding the 2018 FBS football season. Sponsored by defense contractor Northrop Grumman, the game was officially known as the Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman.
