Alfred Detlef Fritz Kahl (18 February 1877 – November, 1946) was a German schoolteacher who took up microscopy in mid-life and became a leading authority on ciliated protozoa. In a burst of scientific productivity that lasted just nine years, he published 1800 pages of scholarly work, in which he described 17 new ciliate families, 57 genera, and about 700 previously unknown species. Bruno Guntram Wilhelm Kahl (born 12 July 1962 in Essen, West Germany) is a German civil servant and administrative lawyer. Since 1 July 2016, he has been President of the Federal Intelligence Service (''Bundesnachrichtendienst''). Early life and education Kahl was born as the first child of Bernhard and Ute Kahl (née Schoenitz) in Essen, West Germany. He completed his Abitur in 1981 at Kardinal-Frings-Gymnasium in Bonn-Beuel and military service from 1981 until 1983, then studied law until 1988 at the University of Bonn and the University of Lausanne. Chris Kahl (born January 2, 1977, in Rockledge, Florida) is an American musician best known for his songs about his home state of Florida. Early years Chris Kahl was born and raised on the Space Coast of Florida where he began playing guitar as a teenager. Milton Erwin Kahl (March 22, 1909 – April 19, 1987) was an American animator. He was one of (and often considered the most influential of) Walt Disney's supervisory team of animators, known as Disney's Nine Old Men.
