Kaetlyn Osmond
Kaetlyn Osmond (born December 5, 1995) is a retired competitive Canadian figure skater who competed in ladies' singles. A three-time Canadian national champion (2013, 2014, 2017), Osmond competed internationally at the senior level from 2012 to 2018, winning three Olympic medals (gold and silver in the team event, and individual bronze), two World Championship medals (gold and silver), and one Grand Prix Final medal (bronze). Osmond debuted on the senior level in 2012 and won gold at the 2012 Skate Canada International. After winning what would be the first of three national titles, she placed eighth in her World Championship debut. As part of the 2014 Canadian Olympic team, Osmond won a silver medal in the team event. After being sidelined by injury and struggling to return to competitive form, Osmond reclaimed her Canadian title in 2017 and won silver at the 2017 World Championships. The 2018 World Figure Skating Championships were held in Milan, Italy from 19–25 March 2018, at the Mediolanum Forum. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) uses icons, flags and symbols to elevate the Olympic Games. Figure skating is a sport in which individuals, pairs, or groups perform on figure skates on ice. It was the first winter sport to be included in the Olympic Games, when contested at the 1908 Olympics in London. The Olympic disciplines are men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance; the four individual disciplines are also combined into a team event, first included in the Winter Olympics in 2014. The ladies' single figure skating competition of the 2018 Winter Olympics was held at the Gangneung Ice Arena in Gangneung, South Korea. The 2010–11 figure skating season began on July 1, 2010, and ended on June 30, 2011. During this season, elite skaters competed on the ISU Championship level at the 2011 European, Four Continents, World Junior, and World Championships. 2016-17 Figure Skating Season
16-17 is a band from Basel, Switzerland. Their music combines punk rock, hardcore punk, jazz and industrial music. Biography 16-17 was founded in 1983 by Alex Buess, Knut Remond and Markus Kneubühler. When the group played its first concerts in 1983 it was received with controversial reactions: there where hardly any groups that played in an approximately similar style. Only some years later around 1986 groups like Painkiller, Last Exit or The Flying Luttenbachers appeared . They played a similar mix of rough noise, heavily amplified instruments and free jazz inspired improvisation. 1983 to 1994 the group did a lot of tours and played many gigs all over Europe, Japan and USA. From this period there are three official releases: the cassette ''Buffbunker and Hardkore'' , the LP ''16-17'' (Label Rec Rec) as well as the LP '' When All Else Fails...'' (Label Vision/Praxis).
