Kaderi Kibria
Kaderi Kibria is a Bangladeshi Rabindra Sangeet singer. Kibria was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2013 by the Government of Bangladesh. He had been an active participant in the Swadhin Bangla Betar, during the Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971. Early life and career Kibria was born in Faridpur Upazila in Pabna district of Bangladesh. He received music lessons from Ajit Roy Ajit Roy (29 June 1938 – 4 September 2011) was a Bangladeshi Rabindra Sangeet singer. Faridpur ( bn, ফরিদপুর) is an upazila of Pabna District in the Division of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Faridpur is located at . Santiniketan
Santiniketan is a neighbourhood of Bolpur town in the Bolpur subdivision of Birbhum district in West Bengal, India, approximately 152 km north of Kolkata. Pabna ( bn, পাবনা) is a city of Pabna District, Bangladesh and the administrative capital of the eponymous Pabna District. It is on the north bank of the Padma River and has a population of about . Debabrata Biswas
Debabrata Biswas (also known as George Biswas and George-''da''; 22 August 1911 – 18 August 1980), was an Indian Rabindra Sangeet singer. Early life Biswas was born in 1911 in Barisal and then later came to Kishoreganj of Mymensingh district of British colonial undivided Bengal province of India. It was the time when King George V was visiting India for the Delhi Durbar, so he was nicknamed ''George''. He was popularly called ''George Biswas'' and ''George Da''. Ajit Roy
Ajit Roy (29 June 1938 – 4 September 2011) was a Bangladeshi Rabindra Sangeet singer. During the Liberation War of 1971 he sang inspiring songs called ''Gana Sangeet'' to inspire people to take arms against the Pakistani forces. He was awarded Independence Day Award in 2000 by the Government of Bangladesh. Early life Roy was born in the village Ulipur in Kurigram district on June 29, 1938. His father Mukunda Chandra Roy was a government official in Rangpur while his mother Konika Roy was a school teacher and cultural activist. He took lesson on Tagore music from his mother Konika Roy in his childhood. Career In radio and television Roy came to Dhaka in the 1960s and began working with the country's government-run radio station and also worked with the country's only television channel from its inception.
