''Kadamban'' () is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language action drama film written and directed by N. Ragavan. Arya and Catherine Tresa star. The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by S. R. Sathish Kumar, editing by Deva, art directing by A. R. Mohan, and stunt choreography by Dhilip Subbarayan. The movie was dubbed and released in Telugu as ''Gajendrudu''."The Hindi rights of the film were purchased by RK Duggal Studios for a record price. The Hindi trailer was launched on 6 May 2017, and the Hindi dubbed version was released under the same title by RKD studios. It received mixed reviews, who appreciated performance of Arya, visuals, and music, but criticised for writing, and its similarities between previous Hollywood, and slow pace. Yuvan Shankar Raja
Yuvan Shankar Raja or Abdul Haliq (born 31 August 1979) is an Indian film score and soundtrack composer and singer-songwriter. He mainly scores music for Tamil films. Considered a versatile composer, he is particularly known for his use of Western music elements and often credited with having introduced hip hop to the Tamil film and music industry and started the "era of remixes" in Tamil Nadu. Yuvan has won two Filmfare Awards South, five Mirchi Music Awards South, four Vijay Awards and three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. Within a span of 25 years, Yuvan has worked on over 100 films. The Show People
The Show People is an Indian film production company established by Indian actor Arya. The studio has primarily been involved in the production of Arya's Tamil language films, having worked on films including ''Boss Engira Bhaskaran'' (2010) and ''Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga'' (2015). Arya has also worked as a producer and distributor through the production studio August Cinema where he has worked with Prithviraj, Shaji Nadesan and Santosh Sivan on Malayalam language films. Catherine Tresa Alexander (born 10 September 1989) is an Indian actress and model. She has established her career predominantly in Telugu and Tamil films. She made her debut in 2010 in the Kannada film ''Shankar IPS''. Catherine has been nominated four times for the Filmfare Awards South.
