Erling Kaas
Erling Kaas (19 August 1915 – 17 June 1996) was a Norwegian pole vaulter. He represented IK Tjalve. At the 1948 Summer Olympics, he finished fourth in the pole vault final with a vault of 4.10 metres. Herman Munthe-Kaas
Herman Munthe-Kaas (25 May 1890 – 5 May 1977) was a Norwegian architect. He was primarily known for his functionalist building designs. Biography Munthe-Kaas was born at Christiania (now Oslo), Norway. He was the son of Marius William Munthe-Kaas (1856-1926) and Hermine Cathrine Blichfeldt (1863-1937). Munthe-Kaas graduated from Kristiania tekniske skole (now Oslo University College) in 1910 and Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry (''Statens HĂĄndverks- og Kunstindustriskole'') in 1912. He apprenticed with Arnstein Arneberg from 1916 to 1918. In 1918, Munthe Kaas attended the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and during 1919-20 the Academy of Arts in Copenhagen. Ludwig Kaas
Ludwig Kaas (23 May 1881 – 15 April 1952) was a German Roman Catholic priest and politician of the Centre Party during the Weimar Republic. He was instrumental in brokering the Reichskonkordat between the Holy See and the German Reich. Early career Born in Trier, Kaas was ordained a priest in 1906 and studied history and Canon law in Trier and Rome. In 1906 he completed a doctorate in theology and in 1909 he obtained a second doctorate in philosophy. In 1910 he was appointed rector of an orphanage and boarding school near Koblenz. Niels Kaas (1535 – 29 June 1594) was a Danish politician who served as Chancellor of Denmark from 1573 until his death. He was influential in the negotiation of the Treaty of Stettin (1570), Peace of Stettin and in the upbringing of Christian IV of Denmark, Christian IV.
