Kaare Lindboe
Kaare Inge Lindboe (6 October 1939 – 24 April 2021) was a Norwegian football referee and journalist. He refereed a total of 165 matches in the Norwegian Premier League between 1967 and 1989. He also refereed the 1975 Norwegian Cup final. Internationally, he refereed two international matches in 1979 and 1981. He was later head of the referee's committee in the Norwegian Football Association, and a UEFA delegate. He was also a longtime board member of Stavanger club FK Vidar. Outside football, Lindboe worked many years as a journalist for '' Rogalands Avis''. Norwegian Premier League
Eliteserien () is a Norwegian professional league for association football clubs. At the top of the Norwegian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Norwegian First Division. Seasons run from March to November with each team playing 30 matches (playing each other home and away). Most games are played on Sunday evenings. Eliteserien was founded in 1937 as Norgesserien (English: ''The League of Norway''), and the first season was the 1937–38 season. The structure and name of Eliteserien, along with Norway's other football leagues, has undergone frequent changes. Norwegian Football Association
The Norwegian Football Federation ( nb, Norges Fotballforbund, nn, Noregs Fotballforbund; NFF) is the governing body of football in Norway. It was formed in 1902 and organises the men's and women's national teams, as well as the league systems for men and women (whose top levels are respectively the Eliteserien and Toppserien). The current president of NFF is Lise Klaveness. By 1 January 2004, there were 1,814 clubs organized in Norway and 373,532 registered players. It is the largest sports federation in Norway. The NFF joined FIFA in 1908, and UEFA in 1954. The NFF was part of an unsuccessful joint bid with the SvFF, the DBU and the SPL to host the UEFA Euro 2008 championship. The SvFF invited the NFF to join them in bidding for the UEFA Euro 2016 championship. FK Vidar
FK Vidar is an association football club from Stavanger, Norway. They currently play in the 3. divisjon, the fourth highest level in the Norwegian football league system. Club history The club was founded on 18 April 1906. FK Vidar played their first match against Stavanger IF on 15 August 1906. They lost 1–0. They became members of the Norwegian Football Association in 1909, and won their first league title in 1912 when the junior team became district champions of Rogaland. The club has spent most of its time between the third and fourth tiers in Norway and from 1952 to 1962 they found themselves languishing in the regional leagues. It was not until the 1980s that Vidar began to develop into one of the better teams in Stavanger. Teetotalism
Teetotalism is the practice or promotion of total personal abstinence from the psychoactive drug alcohol, specifically in alcoholic drinks. A person who practices (and possibly advocates) teetotalism is called a teetotaler or teetotaller, or is simply said to be teetotal.
