''Kaalangalil Aval Vasantham'' () is a 1976 Indian Tamil-language film directed by S. P. Muthuraman and produced by S. Baskar. The screenplay was written by Panchu Arunachalam from a story by C. N. Muthu. The film stars R. Muthuraman, Chandrakala and Srividya. It was released on 13 April 1976. The film was remade in Kannada as ''Hrudaya Pallavi'' (1987). Plot It's the story of 2 sisters, Rajalakshmi (Raji), and Kalpana. They live with their father, and is often visited by their uncle Santhanam from Singapore. Kalpana, the younger one is in love with Ravi. The elder sister is about to be married, when fate has it that the groom unfortunately passes away in an accident, leaving her mentally troubled obsessing herself with marriage and groom. Panchu Arunachalam
Panchanathan Arunachalam (22 March 1941 – 9 August 2016) was an Indian writer, director, producer and lyricist who worked in Tamil cinema. He was mentored by poet Kannadasan who was his uncle. He also worked as a lyricist in the Tamil cinema industry. He started producing films under his production banner named P. A. Arts. His son Subbu Panchu Arunachalam is an actor and dubbing artist in the Tamil film industry. Career In 2004, Panchu Arunachalam opted to return to work as a director and planned a film titled ''Ganesha'' with Cheran in the lead role. However, the film eventually did not materialise. ''Kalki'' is a Tamil language, Tamil-language Weekly (news magazine), weekly magazine published from Chennai, India. The magazine was established by Kalki Krishnamurthy, a popular Tamil language, Tamil novelist and Indian freedom fighter, in 1941. Kalki Sadasivam, T Sadasivam was the magazine's co-founder. Gopishantha (26 May 1937 – 10 October 2015), better known by her stage name Manorama, also called Aachi, was an Indian actress, playback singer and comedian who had appeared in more than 1000 films and 5000 stage performances and several television series predomninantely in the Tamil language until 2015.
