Kentucky Route 207 (KY 207) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Kentucky. The highway connects mostly rural areas of Carter and Greenup counties with Argillite and Flatwoods. Route description KY 207 begins at an intersection with KY 1654 (Williams Creek Road) west-southwest of Rush, within Carter County. It travels to the west-northwest and passes O'Neal Cemetery before curving to the north-northwest. The highway has a very brief concurrency with U.S. Route 60 (US 60). When the two highways split, KY 207 travels to the north-northeast. Then, it passes Sally Cemetery. The highway then travels to the north-northwest. Rush is an unincorporated community in Boyd and Carter counties in the U.S. state of Kentucky. As of the 2000 census, the community had a total population of 2,755 within its postal zip code. The Boyd County portion of Rush is a part of the Huntington-Ashland Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). As of the 2010 census, the MSA had a population of 287,702. New definitions from February 28, 2013 placed the population at 363,000. The reason this community was given the name Rush is obscure. Kentucky Route 693 (KY 693) is a east–west state highway located within Greenup County in the U.S. state of Kentucky. The western terminus of the route is at U.S. Route 23 in Wurtland. The eastern terminus is at US 23 in Russell. KY 693 is also known as Diedrich Boulevard in Russell and Bellefonte Road in Flatwoods. Kentucky Route 1
Kentucky Route 1 (KY 1) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Kentucky. It originates at a junction with KY 3, one mile (1.6 km) east of Cadmus in Lawrence County. The route continues through Grayson in Carter County to terminate at US 23 in Greenup in Greenup County. Part of the highway is co-signed with the Jenny Wiley Trail. Segments of KY 1 are built upon the old Eastern Kentucky Railroad. KY 1 follows parts of the Little Sandy River and parts of a smaller fork of the Little Sandy called the Little Fork upstream of Grayson. Kentucky Route 1 allows access to Greenbo Lake State Resort Park and River Bend Golf Course, as well to the Oldtown Covered Bridge and the Jesse Stuart Nature Preserve.
