Alamo ( nv, ) is a census-designated place (CDP) in Socorro County, New Mexico, United States. The population was 1,085 at the 2010 census. It is the largest community on the Alamo Navajo Indian Reservation. Geography Alamo is located at (34.409157, -107.514762). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of , all land. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 1,183 people, 256 households, and 229 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 29.8 people per square mile (11.5/km2). There were 272 housing units at an average density of 6.9 per square mile (2.6/km2).
