It was originally an affiliate of Telemundo with local programming consisting of lottery results and a weekly Catholic Mass and the Home Shopping Network in overnight hours. KSCC (channel 38) is a television station in Corpus Christi, Texas, United States, affiliated with Fox and MyNetworkTV. Owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, the station maintains studios on South Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi, and its transmitter is located southeast of Robstown. Because KSCC is a full-power television station, its signal covers the Corpus Christi metropolitan area, as well as outlying towns as far as Raymondville and George West. The coverage area is far greater than that of the market's original Fox affiliate, low-power K47DF (channel 47, now a Telemundo affiliate). Last owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, its final programming was MyNetworkTV. It was functionally replaced by a digital subchannel of co-owned Fox affiliate KSCC (channel 38). The transmitter was located on Leopard Street in Corpus Christi. The "My KTOV" branding is still used on the subchannel. The class A television service is a system for regulating some low-power television (LPTV) stations in the United States. Class A stations are denoted by the broadcast callsign suffix "-CA" (analog) or "-CD" (digital), although very many analog -CA stations have a digital companion channel that was assigned the -LD suffix used by regular (non-class-A) digital LPTV stations.
