KQFC (97.9 MHz, "Magic 97.9") is a commercial FM radio station in Boise, Idaho. It airs a soft adult contemporary radio format and is owned by Cumulus Media. Studios and offices are on West Bannock Street in Boise. The transmitter is off North Bogus Basin Road, amid other TV and FM towers, north of Boise. History KBOI-FM (1960-1985) On , the station signed on the air as KBOI-FM. It was the FM counterpart to KBOI, owned by Boise Valley Broadcasters.
