''KST Live 31.08.'95'' is the first live album by the Serbian punk rock band Goblini released in 1995, on compact cassette only, by the Mortal Combat records indie record label. The album features cover versions of KUD Idijoti "Pisma o ribaru Marinu, Mari i moru" and "Minijatura", Ramones " Sheena Is a Punk Rocker" and "Commando" and a version of The Clash cover of " I Fought the Law", with lyrics in Serbian entitled "Ne mogu više". The band also played Boris Novković's song "Tamara" since Jovanović was a part of Novković's backing band with guest appearance by Atheist Rap vocalist Dr. Pop on lead vocals. "Sheena Is a Punk Rocker" is a song by American punk rock band Ramones, released in 1977 through Sire Records. Written by front man and lead vocalist Joey Ramone it appears on the band's third studio album ''Rocket to Russia'' (1977). The song is well known for its early 1960s influence of surf rock and bubblegum pop that influenced Joey; it has since remained one of the band's most popular songs. The song first appeared in May 1977 as a single in the UK where it charted at number 22 in the UK Singles Chart. In the US, it was released as a single in July 1977, and reached number 81 in the Billboard Hot 100, and appeared on copies of the second issue of the band's 1977 album ''Leave Home'' (replacing the track "Carbona Not Glue"). Boris Novković
Boris Novković (born 25 December 1967) is a Croatian singer-songwriter. He has been active since the 1980s. Biography Novković was born in Sarajevo, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia. His interest in a musical career was cultivated by his family background, with mother Ozana who taught music, and father Đorđe who was a leading Croatian songwriter and music manager. He released his first album, ''Kuda idu izgubljene djevojke'' in 1986, selling 120,000 copies, while his follow-up release in 1987, ''Jači od sudbine'', sold 160,000 copies and remained his highest-selling album to date. Two more successful albums followed: ''Dok svira radio'' in 1988 and ''Obojeni snovi'' in 1989. Demolition 23 (stylized Demolition 23.) was a rock band formed in 1993 in New York by former Hanoi Rocks frontman Michael Monroe and ex-Star Star guitarist Jay Hening following the ending of Monroe's Jerusalem Slim project with Steve Stevens. Initially, Demolition 23. was a cover band, playing live shows in New York, with Monroe and Hening joined by the accomplished session drummer Jimmy Clark. Atheist Rap is a Serbian punk rock band from Novi Sad, formed in 1989, which has released six studio albums, one compilation album and one live DVD. Serbian Language
Serbian (, ) is the standardized variety of the Serbo-Croatian language mainly used by Serbs. I Fought The Law
"I Fought the Law" is a song written by Sonny Curtis of the Crickets and popularized by a cover by the Bobby Fuller Four, becoming a top-ten hit for the band in 1966. Their version of the song was ranked No. 175 on the ''Rolling Stone'' list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time in 2004, and the same year was named one of the 500 "Songs that Shaped Rock" by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. A version by Sam Neely charted in 1975. The song was also recorded by the Clash in 1979. A version with different lyrics was recorded by the Dead Kennedys. The Clash
The Clash were an English rock band formed in London in 1976 who were key players in the original wave of British punk rock. Billed as "The Only Band That Matters", they also contributed to the and new wave movements that emerged in the wake of punk and employed elements of a variety of genres including reggae, dub, funk, ska, and rockabilly. For most of their recording career, the Clash consisted of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Joe Strummer, lead guitarist and vocalist Mick Jones, bassist Paul Simonon, and drummer Nicky "Topper" Headon. Headon left the group in 1982 due to internal friction surrounding his increasing heroin addiction. Further internal friction led to Jones' departure the following year. Goblini ( sr-Cyrl, Гоблини; trans. ''The Goblins'') are a Serbian punk rock band from Šabac. History Formation, rise to prominence (1992–1999) Guitarist Alen Jovanović and Vladislav Kokotović "Vlada", who lived in Karlovac, played in the band Lorelei until 1991 when they disbanded. Having played with numerous bands from Zagreb, the two moved to Šabac, and in March 1992, with the vocalist Branko Golubović, formed Goblini. The band changed several drummers until Nenad Divnić came to the band.
