KSRW also ran KSRW-LP, channel 33, broadcasting Local News and featuring programming from Outside Television, licensed to Mammoth Lakes, California. KSRW-LP signed off on analog channel 33 at 6:20 am PDT on July 13, 2021. Sierra Wave Television is still on Channel 3 on Optimum (Formally Suddenlink). Licensed to Independence, California, USA, the KSRW 92.5 radio station serves the Bishop, Ridgecrest, Mammoth Lakes and June Lake areas. Independence is a census-designated place in Inyo County, California. Independence is located south-southeast of Bishop, at an elevation of 3930 feet (1198 m). It is the county seat of Inyo County, California. The population of this census-designated place was 669 at the 2010 census, up from 574 at the 2000 census. Geography The small town of Independence is bisected by U.S. Route 395, the main north-south highway through the Owens Valley. The Sierra Nevada mountains to the west lie within the John Muir Wilderness Area. Ridgecrest is a city in Kern County, California, United States, along U.S. Route 395 in the Indian Wells Valley in northeastern Kern County, adjacent to the Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake (NAWS, or China Lake). Mammoth Lakes is a town in Mono County, California, and is the county's only incorporated community. It is located immediately to the east of Mammoth Mountain, at an elevation of .
