“Movin'” (capitalized as “MOViN'”) is a brand name used for a variety of rhythmic AC and top 40 radio stations in numerous broadcast markets in the United States. The name is a registered trademark of Alan Burns & Associates, a radio consultancy firm based in Perdido Key, Florida. Format background This format started in the city of Seattle when Hot AC outlet KLSY (Mix 92.5) became KQMV MOViN 92.5 on May 1, 2006. "MOViN" stations played an upbeat Dance-leaning Rhythmic Adult Contemporary format and used the same logo, which features a hue of green circles (except for Norfolk, whose hues are brown and dark orange). It operates 24 hours a day with a daytime power of 50,000 watts and a nighttime power of 10,000 watts from a transmitter in Mercer Slough Nature Park in Bellevue, where studios are also located (although in a separate location). Tiger Mountain is a mountain in the U.S. state of Washington. It is at the center of the Issaquah Alps, a small range in the Eastside region of King County, Washington southeast of Seattle. Effective Radiated Power
Effective radiated power (ERP), synonymous with equivalent radiated power, is an IEEE standardized definition of directional radio frequency (RF) power, such as that emitted by a radio transmitter.
