KPTN-LD
KPTN-LD (channel 7) is a low-power television station in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. It is owned by Innovate Corp. alongside Telemundo affiliate WODK-LD (channel 45) and Buzzr affiliate KBGU-LD (channel 33). KPTN-LD's transmitter is located near Shrewsbury, Missouri. History From 1991 to 2001, the station was an affiliate of The Box music channel. KPTN later picked up the Home Shopping Network in 2003. The station began broadcasting HSN on LD1 infrequently in June 2011. In November 2011, Sonlife began broadcasting on LD2. TheCoolTV returned to St. Louis on LD3 in late December 2012 (until 2013). LD4 has a title card announcing P-TV coming soon as of late December 2012. The station appeared to go silent in late December 2011. As of at least June 24, 2012, it was back on the air, with programming as noted above. beIN Sports USA is a pay television sports network which primarily airs top level soccer, featuring exclusive coverage of Ligue 1, along with content from other leagues in Europe. WODK-LD
WODK-LD, virtual channel 45 (UHF digital channel 30), is a low-powered television station licensed to serve St. Louis, Missouri, United States. The station is owned by HC2 Holdings, as part of a duopoly with KBGU-LD. It transmitter is located in northern Jefferson County, Missouri along Rock Creek Road off Missouri State Route 21. History The station’s construction permit was issued by the Federal Communications Commission on February 25, 2010, under the calls of W45DK-D. At that time, the station was originally licensed to Springfield, Illinois. The current WODK-LD callsign was adopted on March 28, 2016. DTV America relocated the station to the St. Louis area in late 2016, although it was not licensed to serve St. Louis until January 5, 2021. It then signed on in December 2016 as the area’s Cozi TV affiliate. KBGU-LD
KBGU-LD, virtual channel 33 (UHF digital channel 27), is a low powered Buzzr- affiliated television station licensed to St. Louis, Missouri, United States. The station is owned by Innovate Corp. History Although granted a construction permit in July 1987, the station did not commence broadcasting until 1991. The station was originally K18BT, an owned-and-operated translator of the Trinity Broadcasting Network, with all programming retransmitted via a satellite feed from TBN's headquarters in Santa Ana, California. The station's call letters were changed to K33GU upon moving to analog UHF channel 33. In 2010, TBN closed down many of its low-powered repeaters, including K33GU, due to ongoing economic problems. Many of these repeaters would be donated by TBN to the Minority Media and Television Council (MMTC), an organization designed to preserve equal opportunity and civil rights in the media.
