Communist Party Of Poland
The interwar Communist Party of Poland ( pl, Komunistyczna Partia Polski, KPP) was a communist party active in Poland during the Second Polish Republic. It resulted from a December 1918 merger of the Social Democracy of the Kingdom of Poland and Lithuania (SDKPiL) and the Polish Socialist Party – Left (PPS – Left) into the Communist Workers' Party of Poland (''Komunistyczna Partia Robotnicza Polski'', KPRP). The communists were a small force in Polish politics. The Communist Party of Poland (until 1925 the Communist Workers' Party of Poland) was an organization of the radical Left. Following the ideas of Rosa Luxemburg, the party's aim was to create a Polish Socialist Republic, to be included in the planned Pan-European Commonwealth of Socialist States. The party did not support the formation of the Second Polish Republic in 1918 and supported the Bolsheviks (led by Vladimir Lenin) in the 1920 Polish–Soviet War. The views adhered to and promulgated by the leaders of the ...

Communist Party Of Transnistria
The Communist Party of Transnistria (KPP; ro, Partidul Comunist din Nistrenia, mo-Cyrl, Партидул Комунист дин Нистрения; russian: Коммунистическая партия Приднестровья; uk, Комуністична партія Придністров'я) was a communist party in Transnistria, led by Vladimir Gavrilchenko. It was described by state media as the more "conservative" communist party in comparison to the Transnistrian Communist Party (PKP). Overview The Communist Party of Transnistria maintains close contacts with groups in Russia. It was affiliated with the Communist Party of the Soviet Union led by Oleg Shenin, and it usually refers to itself by its abbreviation KPP-KPSS. However, it had no representation in Transnistria's Supreme Council. It supported independent statehood for Transnistria and opposed the administration of President Igor Smirnov. It provided no candidate to run in the 10 December 2006 presidenti ...

Fisher's Equation
In mathematics, Fisher's equation (named after statistician and biologist Ronald Fisher) also known as the Kolmogorov–Petrovsky–Piskunov equation (named after Andrey Kolmogorov, Ivan Petrovsky, and Nikolai Piskunov), KPP equation or Fisher–KPP equation is the partial differential equation: : \frac - D \frac = r u(1-u).\, It is a kind of reaction–diffusion system that can be used to model population growth and wave propagation. Details Fisher's equation belongs to the class of reaction–diffusion equation: in fact, it is one of the simplest semilinear reaction-diffusion equations, the one which has the inhomogeneous term : f(u,x,t) = r u (1-u),\, which can exhibit traveling wave solutions that switch between equilibrium states given by f(u) = 0. Such equations occur, e.g., in ecology, physiology, combustion, crystallization, plasma physics, and in general phase transition problems. Fisher proposed this equation in his 1937 paper ''The wave of advance of advanta ...

Kentucky Proud Park
Kentucky Proud Park is a baseball stadium in Lexington, Kentucky. It is the home field of the University of Kentucky Wildcats college baseball team. Opened in 2018, with the Wildcats playing their first season in the stadium in 2019, it has a permanent capacity of 2,500, with grass berm seating adding more than 1,500 to the total capacity. Temporary seating can be added to bring the capacity to 7,000 for NCAA tournament games. The replacement for Cliff Hagan Stadium, the park received its name in a deal between JMI Sports, which holds the multimedia rights for UK sports and also markets the naming rights to all Wildcats venues, and the Kentucky Farm Bureau, an organization promoting the interests of Kentucky farmers which is best known by the non-farming public for its insurance business. The Farm Bureau chose to donate its naming rights to the Kentucky Department of Agriculture, which uses "Kentucky Proud" as the brand for its marketing program for agricultural products made in ...

Kernel Patch Protection
Kernel Patch Protection (KPP), informally known as PatchGuard, is a feature of 64-bit (x64) editions of Microsoft Windows that prevents patching the kernel. It was first introduced in 2005 with the x64 editions of Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1. "Patching the kernel" refers to unsupported modification of the central component or kernel of the Windows operating system. Such modification has never been supported by Microsoft because, according to Microsoft, it can greatly reduce system security, reliability, and performance. Although Microsoft does not recommend it, it is possible to patch the kernel on x86 editions of Windows; however, with the x64 editions of Windows, Microsoft chose to implement additional protection and technical barriers to kernel patching. Since patching the kernel is possible in 32-bit (x86) editions of Windows, several antivirus software developers use kernel patching to implement antivirus and other security services. These techniques wil ...

Key Performance Parameters
Key Performance Parameters (KPPs) specify what the critical performance goals are in a United States Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition under the JCIDS process. The JCIDS intent for KPPs is to have a few measures stated where the acquisition product either meets the stated performance measure or else the program will be considered a failure per instructions CJCSI 3170.01H – Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System. The mandates require 3 to 8 KPPs be specified for a United States Department of Defense major acquisition, known as Acquisition Category 1 or ACAT-I. The term is defined as "Performance attributes of a system considered critical to the development of an effective military capability. A KPP normally has a threshold representing the minimum acceptable value achievable at low-to-moderate risk, and an objective, representing the desired operational goal but at higher risk in cost, schedule, and performance. KPPs are contained in the Capability Developm ...

Kinetic PreProcessor
The Kinetic PreProcessor (KPP) is an open-source software tool used in atmospheric chemistry. Taking a set of chemical reactions and their rate coefficients as input, KPP generates Fortran 90, FORTRAN 77, C, or Matlab code of the resulting ordinary differential equations (ODEs). Solving the ODEs allows the temporal integration of the kinetic system. Efficiency is obtained by exploiting the sparsity structures of the Jacobian and of the Hessian. A comprehensive suite of stiff numerical integrators is also provided. Moreover, KPP can be used to generate the tangent linear model, as well as the continuous and discrete adjoint models of the chemical system. Korean Patriots Party
The Our Republican Party (), formerly the Korean Patriots' Party (Korean: 대한애국당), was a far-right political party in South Korea known primarily for its Pro-Park Geun-hye stance. It was formed following a split within the New Saenuri Party. The party strongly supported former president Park Geun-hye. In June 2019, the party elevated Hong Moon-jong, a National Assembly member who left the Liberty Korea Party, as its leader along with incumbent Cho Won-jin. Originally, the party planned to change its name as New Republican Party (신공화당), but faced a legal issue. On 24 June, the party changed the name to Our Republican Party. The party claimed that the new name came from Park Geun-hye herself. In March 2020, the party merged with the Liberty Unification Party to form the Liberty Republican Party.
