Kevin Pierre-Louis
Kevin Pierre-Louis (born October 7, 1991) is an American football linebacker for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Boston College and was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He has also played for the Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets, Chicago Bears, and Washington Football Team. High school career Pierre-Louis attended King Low Heywood Thomas, which is a private, co-educational day school in Stamford, Connecticut, where he played middle linebacker and fullback. In 2009, he recorded 159 tackles in nine games. He also registered three interceptions, returning two for touchdowns, two sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Offensively, he rushed for 914 yards and 13 touchdowns on 77 carries. He was selected as the 2009-10 Gatorade Football Player of the Year for the state of Connecticut. The Kalamazoo Public Library is an independent district library in Kalamazoo, Michigan, that serves about 120,000 people, has a salaried staff of 90, and spends about $10 million annually. The library consists of the central branch downtown, and four branch libraries. History Kalamazoo Public Library was founded in 1893. The building was designed in the Romanesque Revival style, with several wings and towers filled with windows to capture natural light. Ulysses Wheaton built the structure, which stood for 65 years. Kewanee Public Library
The Kewanee Public Library is a Carnegie library located at 102 South Tremont Street in Kewanee, Illinois. The library was built in 1907–08 to house the city's public library, which was formed in 1875 and had previously occupied a room in the town hall. The city's first attempt at building a Carnegie library came in 1901, but it could not secure funding to match Carnegie's $20,000 grant; later in the decade, it approved additional community funding and convinced Carnegie to supply an additional $5,000. Chicago architects Patton & Miller, who were well known for their work on Carnegie libraries, designed the Classical Revival building. The library's design includes an entrance flanked by four stone columns and topped by a portico, stone pilasters to either side of the front windows, and a classical entablature with a frieze and dentillated cornice. The Kitchener Public Library is the public library system for the city of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. It consists of five libraries; a large Central Library in the downtown core, with four Community Libraries spread out to provide services for the neighbourhoods of Kitchener. History The main branch of the Kitchener Public Library opened at 85 Queen Street in May 1962.
