History An original construction permit for low-power television station K29CO, channel 29, was granted to Hispanic Broadcasters of Arizona, Inc. on October 2, 1997. The Daystar Television Network (commonly referred to as Daystar Television, often shortened to Daystar) is an American evangelical Christian-based religious television network owned by the Word of God Fellowship, founded by Marcus Lamb in 1993. Daystar is headquartered in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in Bedford, Texas. The network is based around prosperity theology. History In 1984, Marcus and Joni Lamb (née Trammell) moved to Montgomery, Alabama to launch the state's first full-power Christian television station, WMCF-TV. The Lambs built the station for the next five years, and sold it in 1990 to the Trinity Broadcasting Network. Ultra high frequency (UHF) is the ITU designation for radio frequencies in the range between 300 megahertz (MHz) and 3 gigahertz (GHz), also known as the decimetre band as the wavelengths range from one meter to one tenth of a meter (one decimeter). Radio waves with frequencies above the UHF band fall into the super-high frequency (SHF) or microwave frequency range. Lower frequency signals fall into the VHF (very high frequency) or lower bands. KUDF-LP, virtual and UHF digital channel 14, is a low-powered Estrella TV- affiliated television station licensed to Tucson, Arizona, United States. The station is owned by LM Media Group, Inc. It is carried on the major cable television systems in Tucson. History An original construction permit for a low-power television station on channel 14 was granted to K. Sandoval Burke, one of the two co-owners of Hispanic Broadcasters of Tucson, on February 28, 1989. The station, K14HR "KHR-TV", signed on April 1 as Tucson's first Telemundo affiliate and first locally programmed Spanish-language station. The station was profitable within eight months, ahead of projections. Hispanic Broadcasters, owned by Burke and Jay S. Zucker, also owned the low-power Telemundo station in Phoenix, K64DR. Santa Rita Mountains
The Santa Rita Mountains ( O'odham: To:wa Kuswo Doʼag), located about 65 km (40 mi) southeast of Tucson, Arizona, extend 42 km (26 mi) from north to south, then trending southeast. They merge again southeastwards into the Patagonia Mountains, trending northwest by southeast. Green Valley is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Pima County, Arizona, United States. The population was 22,616 at the 2020 census. Geography Green Valley is located along the western side of the Santa Cruz River at (31.8556, -111.0001). Continental is to the east of Green Valley, on the other side of the river. Douglas is a city in Cochise County, Arizona, United States that lies in the north-west to south-east running Sulpher Springs Valley. Douglas has a border crossing with Mexico at Agua Prieta and a history of mining. The population was 16,531 in the 2020 Census. History The Douglas area was first settled by the Spanish in the 18th century. Presidio de San Bernardino was established in 1776 and abandoned in 1780.
