KOME-FM (95.5 MHz) is a radio station licensed to serve the community of Tolar, Texas. The station is owned by LKCM Radio Group, and is fully simulcast with its sister station 106.5 KITT in Meridian, Texas. KOME and KITT air a classic hits music format. The station was assigned the call sign KSCG by the Federal Communications Commission on October 10, 2006. KTWF (95.5 FM, "K-Hits") is a radio station licensed to Scotland, Texas serving the Wichita Falls, Texas area with a classic hits format. The station is owned and operated by LKCM Radio Group. KTWF's studios are located on Call Field Rd in the southwest portion of Wichita Falls. The transmitter site is about seven miles north of Archer City, Texas. History KTWF signed on the air August 16, 1996 as KJKB. Originally branded ''Boss 95.5'', the station aired a classic rock format. On March 4, 2013, the station changed its call sign to KXPN-FM and switched formats from classic rock to sports as 95.5 ESPN with programming from ESPN Radio. Tolar is a city in Hood County, Texas, United States. Its population was 681 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Granbury, Texas micropolitan statistical area. Geography Tolar is located at (32.390580, –97.919570). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of , all of it land. Demographics As of the census of 2000,504 people, 186 households, and 130 families were residing in the city. The population density was 553.2 people/sq mi mile (213.8/km). The 217 housing units averaged 238.2/sq mi (92.1/km). The racial makeup of the city was 93.65% White, 1.39% Native American, 0.40% Asian, 2.78% from other races, and 1.79% from two or more races. Classic hits is a radio format which generally includes songs from the top 40 music charts from the late 1960s to the early 2000s, with music from the 1980s serving as the core of the format.
