KOBB (AM)
KOBB (1230 kHz) is an AM radio station licensed to serve Bozeman, Montana, United States. The station's licensee is held by Desert Mountain Broadcasting Licenses, LLC. The offices and all the studios are located southwest of Bozeman at "Radio Ranch", 5445 Johnson Road. KOBB's transmitter is on the south side of Bozeman, on West Kagy Blvd. Programming KOBB broadcasts a sports talk format as a nominally full-time affiliate of the ESPN Radio network. Bozeman is a city and the county seat of Gallatin County, Montana, United States. Located in southwest Montana, the 2020 census put Bozeman's population at 53,293, making it the fourth-largest city in Montana. It is the principal city of the Bozeman, MT Micropolitan Statistical Area, consisting of all of Gallatin County with a population of 118,960. Middle of the road (also known by its acronym MOR) is a commercial radio format and popular music genre. Music associated with this term is strongly melodic and uses techniques of vocal harmony and light orchestral arrangements. The format was eventually rebranded as soft adult contemporary.
