KNMQ-LD
KNMQ-LD (channel 20) is a low-power television station in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. Owned by RJ Enterprises, the station maintains a transmitter on Sandia Crest. KNMQ-LD previously operated as a translator of Santa Fe–licensed religious independent station KCHF (channel 11, owned by Son Broadcasting), providing easier reception in areas of Albuquerque where a quality signal from KCHF's main transmitter near Los Alamos is not available. Since 2021, it now airs programming independent from KCHF. On September 1, 2021, the KCHF relay on 20.5 moved to KYNM-CD 21.5, while a new local sports channel launched on digital channel 20.5. History This station was originally K45DL broadcasting on UHF channel 45 beginning sometime in 1995. It was an America's Store affiliate until 2005. KYNM-CD
KYNM-CD, virtual and UHF digital channel 21, is a low-powered, Class A television station licensed to Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. The station is owned by Belmax Broadcasting. History From 1991 to 1999, the station was a low powered repeater for KCHF-TV (channel 11), a religious television station based in Santa Fe as K61EQ on channel 61. The channel began to show programming independently as KYNM-LP in 1999 as a Christian music video outlet on channel 61 branding itself as "YTV" (Your music television). It moved to channel 30 in 2004, but eventually dropped YTV for Almavision, a Spanish-language religious network. In 2008, it was again simulcasting KCHF channel 11 until February 1, 2011, when it began airing programming from My Family TV, which still featured a few religious programs but aired mostly secular general audience programs. KDAZ
KDAZ (700 AM) is a commercial radio station in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It airs a combination of syndicated talk radio shows and Christian radio programming. It is owned by Pan American Broadcasting Co., Inc. Weekdays, most of the shows heard on KDAZ are nationally syndicated conservative talk shows: Jesse Kelly, "Markley, Van Camp and Robbins," Howie Carr, Joe Pags, Lars Larson, Janet Parshall and Jay Sekulow. Hourly newscasts are from Salem's Townhall Radio News. Christian programming is heard late nights and weekends, along with syndicated shows: " At Home with Gary Sullivan," " Leo Laporte, The Tech Guy" and "Fat Guys at the Movies." KDAZ is a Class D radio station. By day, it broadcasts at 450 watts. AM 700 is a clear-channel frequency in the United States, so KDAZ must protect Class A station WLW in Cincinnati, Ohio. KCHF
KCHF (channel 11) is a religious broadcasting, religious Independent station (North America), independent television station licensed to Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States, serving the Albuquerque, New Mexico, Albuquerque area and most of the state. It is owned by the estate of Belarmino "Blackie" Gonzalez (1933–2008) and his non-profit organization, non-profit ministry, Son Broadcasting. KCHF's studios are located on 4th Street in northwestern Albuquerque, and its transmitter is located near Los Alamos, New Mexico, Los Alamos. KCHF's main channel is relayed on the fifth digital subchannel of KYNM-LD (channel 21.5) in Albuquerque to provide improved reception in areas of the city where the main signal from Los Alamos is hard to receive, and on broadcast relay station#Broadcast translators, translator K24ML-D (channel 24) in Taos, New Mexico and K29ME-D (channel 29) in Antonito, Colorado.
