Ken Marlon Charles a.k.a. KMC (born 5 January 1971) is a soca artist from Trinidad. Famous for hits like " Soul on Fire", "Soca Bashment" and "Bashment to Carnival" KMC is signed to the US-based record label Sequence Records. Considered to be one of Trinidad's top soca artists, KMC has over sixteen years experience in the music industry. He has made a name for himself as a solo artist, songwriter, producer and frontman of the band Red, White & Black. Early years KMC is one of nine children. He was born and raised in the village of Rio Claro and then moved to Chaguanas. Career KMC always had a passion for music. Rio Claro is the largest town in southeastern Trinidad, in Trinidad and Tobago. Rio Claro lies east of Princes Town, west of Mayaro and northwest of Guayaguayare. His spouse is Fay-Ann Lyons. Early life Bunji was born on July 14, 1978 in Arima, Trinidad. He is of Saint Lucian and Venezuelan descent. Denise "Saucy Wow" Belfon (born 23 November 1968, in Trinidad) is a soca and contemporary R&B songwriter and dancer. Early years As a young girl in school, she was a football (soccer) player and was offered a scholarship to Howard University to join the all-girls team. However, an injury at the time prevented her from taking up the opportunity. She has been singing since the age of nine, and was also a dancer and a model. When she was not performing, Belfon taught gymnastics at the Belmont Junior Secondary school and at the YMCA.
