Klub Koszykówki Włocławek (in English: Basketball Club Włocławek), or known for sponsorship reasons as Anwil Włocławek, is a Polish professional basketball club, based in Włocławek, Poland. The team plays in the Polish Basketball League (PLK) and internationally in the European North Basketball League. Their home arena is Hala Mistrzów. The club has won the PLK championship three times – in 2003, 2018 and 2019. The club has also won four Polish Basketball Cup, Polish Cup titles and three Polish Basketball Supercup, Polish Supercup titles. Polish Basketball League
Polska Liga Koszykówki (PLK) (English language, English: Polish Basketball League) is a professional men's club basketball list of basketball leagues, league in Poland. It constitutes the first and highest-tier level of the Polish basketball league system, Polish league pyramid. The winning team of the final round are crowned the Polish Champions of that season. It began in 1947–48, with the name of I Liga, and was originally organized by the Polish Basketball Federation. The league changed to its current form, beginning with the 1997–98 season, after the Polska Liga Koszykówki SA, PLK SA (the Polish Basketball League Joint-stock company) took control over the league (the PLK SA was created in 1995). Arka Gdynia is a Polish professional basketball team, based in Gdynia. The team plays in the Polish PLK. The club's sponsorship name comes from the company Asseco. Historically the team is one of the most successful in Poland, mainly because of the nine championships in a row the team won from 2004 to 2012. 2021–22 European North Basketball League
2021–22 European North Basketball League was the first season of the European North Basketball League, a regional basketball competition patronised by FIBA. The tournament began on October 19, 2021. Competition format A round robin tournament – at least seven games in three stages (3+2+2), followed by the Final Four in Spring of 2022. The 2018–19 Polish Basketball League (PLK) season, the Energa Basket Liga for sponsorship reasons, was the 85th season of the Polish Basketball League, the highest professional basketball league in the Poland. Anwil Włocławek defended its title and repeated as Polish champions. Teams Czarni Słupsk withdrew during the 2017–18 PLK season because of financial problems. On 17 May 2018, Spójnia Stargard promoted to the PLK as the winners of the I Liga, after defeating Sokół Łańcut 3–0 in the playoff finals. Also, during the pre-season, PGE Turów Zgorzelec withdrew from the tournament.
