Košarkaški klub Radnik ( sr-cyrl, Кошаркашки клуб Радник, ), currently known as Radnik Elvaco MetPro due to sponsorship reasons, is a men's professional basketball club based in Bijeljina, Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bijeljina
Bijeljina ( sr-cyrl, Бијељина) is a city and municipality in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is the provincial center of Semberija, a geographic region in the country's northeast. Administratively, Bijeljina is part of the Republika Srpska entity. As of 2013, it has a population of 107,715 inhabitants. Branislav Vićentić
Branislav Vićentić ( sr-cyr, Бранислав Вићентић; born July 5, 1971) is a Serbian basketball coach and former player. Playing career Vićentić played for Yugoslav teams OKK Beograd, Bobanik and Beobanka. In 1998, he moved to Poland where he played for AZS Lublin for two seasons. After stint in Poland, he moved to Lokomotiv-Kuban, and later to UNICS. In 2002, Vićentić signed for Bulgarian team Yamolgaz '92 Yambol. Later he moved to CSKA Sofia. During 2005–06 season he played for Apollon Limassol of the Cyprus League. In 2006, Vićentić came back to Serbia and spent one season playing for Mega Ishrana before retirement in March 2007. Nihad Izić
Nihad Izić ( tr, Nihat İziç; born 20 June 1959) is a Turkish-Bosnian professional basketball coach and former player. Playing career Izić started to play basketball in his hometown team Radnik Bijeljina. Afterwards, he joined Bosna where he won an EuroLeague title for the 1978–79 season. Izić won two Yugoslav Leagues and a Yugoslav Cup with Bosnia, alongside Mirza Delibašić, Ratko Radovanović, and Žarko Varajić. In 1982, Izić moved to Istanbul, Turkey where he played for İstanbul Bankası Yenişehir and Galatasaray. He retired as a player with Galatasaray in 1987. National team career Izic was a member of the Yugoslavia Juniors team that won the bronze medal at the 1978 European Championship for Juniors held in Italy. Slobodan Popović (basketball)
Slobodan "Boban" Popović ( sr-cyr, Слободан "Бобан" Поповић; 1944 – 31 December 1968) was a Yugoslav professional basketball player. Playing career Born in Loznica, Popović moved to Bijeljina at a young age where he later started to play basketball. He grew up playing for OKK Bijeljina. Afterwards, he moved to a Belgrade-based team Crvena zvezda of the Yugoslav First League, where he played from 1963 to 1968. His teammates in the Zvezda were Zoran Slavnić, Dragan Kapičić, Ljubodrag Simonović, Dragiša Vučinić, and Vladimir Cvetković among others. With them, he was a member of the roster that won a National Championship in the 1968–69 season, and he was posthumously awarded with the title. Legacy Popović is considered one of the best basketball players in history of Bijeljina, by many locals. Dragiša Šarić ( sr-cyr, Драгиша Шарић; 27 January 1961 – 19 July 2008) was a Serbian basketball player and coach. Career Club career Šarić played for several clubs in his country, most notably with the KK Partizan generation that won the 1991–92 Euroleague.
