KJ52
Jonah Kirsten Sorrentino (born June 26, 1975), better known by his stage name KJ-52, is a Christian rapper from Tampa, Florida. The "KJ" part of his name refers to his old rap alias, "King J. Mac,"
a name which he later described in one of his podcasts as "horribly cheesy." "52", which is pronounced "five two", not "fifty-two", is a reference to the Biblical story of with five loaves and two fish, which is also sung about in his song "Push Up" from ''The Yearbook'' and in the "KJ Five Two" on ''It's Pronounced 'Five Two''. He was awarded the ...

Peace Of Mind (band)
Peace of Mind was a Christian rapcore/ nu metal band composed of rapper KJ-52, rock artist Pete Stewart (now lead vocalist of Grammatrain), keyboardist/producer Todd Collins, and drummer Rick May. Songs were written and performed in hip hop form by KJ-52 before being edited by Stewart. Although the band's one self-titled album was not largely popular, it was well received among KJ-52's following. Another Peace of Mind album has been rumored, though KJ announced at his podcast that he will only consider writing another if opportunity comes, noting that his solo work is better received. The band was signed to BEC Recordings. The band was a studio project with no true intentions to do anything beyond record the album. According to KJ, he and Drummer Rick "Mayday" May, never met in person and that two men on the cover, Devin Marlowe and F. Reid Shippen, were not a part of the band. Only KJ and Todd Collins were a part of the band on the album cover. Members * KJ-52 – vocals ( ...

KJ-52 Remixed
''Remixed'' is a remix album by KJ-52, featuring a reggaeton mix of '' Behind the Musik''s "Jesus", "47 Emcees (Plus 18 More Mix)" which reimagines the originally beatbox-driven track with multiple layered beats, each corresponding to the verse's genre; East Coast, West Coast, old school, and Dirty South, and an angst-driven, Linkin Park-inspired nu metal remix of hit "Are You Real?" featuring an emo rock hook provided by Falling Up's Jessy Ribordy. Unlike most rap remix albums, the songs' lyrics are also reimagined here with at least first verse of each track rewritten. "Plain White Rapper (Kalimba Remix)", which was featured in '' Hip Hope Hits 2007'', was reportedly intended to be a collaborative effort between KJ-52 and John Reuben (who previously appeared in the '' Collaborations'' song "The Choice Is Yours"). The album features a reggaeton mix of '' Behind the Musik''s "Jesus", "47 Emcees (Plus 18 More Mix)" which reimagines the originally beatbox-driven track wi ...

Mental (album)
''Mental'' marks the ninth album from KJ-52. The Paradigm Collective released the project on October 21, 2014. He produced the album with Solomon Olds. ''Mental'' is KJ-52's ninth album and the follow-up to 2012's ''Dangerous''. Music ''CCM Magazine'', "Backed by killer beats, fashionable electronics and in-vogue vocals, KJ pits his sophisticated wordplay against current cultural issues to press out a perseverant scriptural message for all people." Jesus Freak Hideout, "''Mental'' does not really sound like something I would have expected KJ to make, and it is way too easy to pin him as simply trying to morph his sound into a mold that sells better, but it would be unfair to the quality of ''Mental'' to do so." New Release Tuesday, "This new KJ is no less about fun, but he has added an aggressive maturity to his music." Indie Vision Music, "With Lecrae (by way of remix), Tedashii, KB, Propaganda, and Flame all showing up, ''Mental'' feels as much like a Reach Records or 116 clique ...

''Five-Two Television'' is the sixth studio album by KJ-52. Released September 22, 2009 on BEC Recordings. The first single, "End of My Rope", was made available on iTunes on July 28, 2009. KJ-52 has released a few mixtapes already – some Mashup (music), mash-ups and some unreleased material – and planned to release more until the release of ''Five-Two Television''. KJ-52 has stated that he encourages the sharing of this mixtape for evangelistic purposes. The Auto-Tune effect is used frequently throughout this album, a first for KJ-52, although on most of the songs it is used, like "Tweezy Dance" or "Adventures of Tweezyman", the Auto-Tune is used as a joke. This album won "Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year" at the 41st GMA Dove Awards, 2010 Dove Awards.

7th Avenue (album)
''7th Avenue'' is the major-label debut album by rapper KJ-52, and his only release before signing to BEC Recordings. The album notably contains little to no pop influence, instead favoring underground and old school hip hop. The album was largely recorded in 1998, shopped to labels in 1999 and finally released in early 2000. The original version released in 2000 initially sold only 20,000 copies and was considered a "failure" by the label. KJ was dropped soon after. In 2004, 7th Avenue was re-released by Essential after seeing the success of KJ's second release, Collaborations. The 2004 edition quickly sold 50,000 additional units and became a cult classic amongst fans. The re-release contained bonus tracks including "Lift Me Up," "All Around the World", "Need Someone", "It's The S.O.I. (Remix)", and "12 Round Knockout." All skits, as well as the songs "Cipha All-Stars" and "They Know Not" were removed for the re-release. Track listing 2000 version # "The Greatest M.C. (Intro)" ...

Total Request Live
''Total Request Live'' (known commonly as ''TRL'') was an American television program broadcast on MTV that premiered on September 14, 1998. TRL featured popular music videos played during its countdown, and was also used as a promotion tool by musicians, actors, and other celebrities to promote their newest works to the show's target teen demographic. During the original run of the program, ''TRL'' played the ten most requested music videos of the day, as voted by viewers via phone or online. The show generally aired Monday through Thursday for one hour, though the scheduling and length of the show fluctuated over the years. Although ''TRL'' was billed as a live show, many episodes were actually pre-recorded. Due to declining ratings, and the larger secular decline of music-based television in favor of online services, MTV would announce the cancellation of ''TRL'' on September 15, 2008. The special three-hour finale episode, ''Total Finale Live'', aired on November 16, 200 ...
