The permit was sold along with eight others to SagamoreHill Broadcasting on March 18, 2021. The station was granted a license to cover on January 10, 2022, and soon took the new call sign KGKM-LD. 480i is the video mode used for standard-definition digital television in the Caribbean, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Laos, Western Sahara, and most of the Americas (with the exception of Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay).
