KF Butrinti
KF Butrinti is an Albanian football club based in the southern city of Sarandë. The club's home ground is the Andon Lapa Stadium and they currently compete in the Kategoria e Dytë. The club falls under the KS Butrinti sports club which also features one of the most successful swimming teams in the country, with football being the second priority by the club. Their best season was in 2014–15 when they finished third in the Kategoria e Parë. History The first sports club in the city of Sarandë was formed by Kristoforidh Harito, Ruhi Selfo and Nazar Sefo on 25 January 1936 as the Shoqeria Sportive Butrinti, which translates to the Butrint Sports Society. The name is taken from the Ancient Greek city of Buthrotum, which in Albanian is called Butrint. Kategoria E Dytë
Kategoria e Dytë is the third professional level of football in Albania. It was called the ''Second Division'' until 2003. Kategoria e Dytë has two groups, A and B. which are divided geographically. It is made up of 23 teams. The winners of each group earn the right to be promoted to the Kategoria e Parë and they also play a single final for seasonal champions. Teams which finish in the last 2 positions on each group are relegated to the Kategoria e Tretë Kategoria e Tretë is the fourth and lowest professional level of football in Albania. KF Bylis, also known as Bylis Ballsh, is an Albanian football club based in Ballsh, Mallakastër District. The club's home ground is the Adush Muça Stadium and they currently compete in the Kategoria Superiore. History Early history The club was formed in September 1972 as Ballshi i Ri, and they played in the Albanian Third Division between 1973 and 1976. But between 1976 and 1981, they were not allowed to participate in Albanian football due to laws restricting a single team from each district. They began playing once again in the Third Division in 1981, which they eventually won in 1986 and were promoted to the Albanian Second Division.
