KDZN
KDZN is a Country formatted broadcast radio station licensed to Glendive, Montana, serving East Central Montana. KDZN is owned and operated by Staphen A. Marks Radio Group. History KDZN signed on in 1969 as KIVE. In 1985, the station became KGLE-FM; at the time, it was owned by crosstown Friends of Christian Radio, Inc, who still own KGLE AM 590. In 1986, Magic Air Communications bought KGLE-FM, switching the calls to KDZN and the format to country, where it remains today. Stephan Marks, through Glendive Broadcasting Corporation, bought Magic Air in 1995, making KDZN a sister station to KXGN AM- TV, which Marks had purchased in 1990. Programming Programming on KDZN is provided via the Westwood One satellite network during the mid-morning, mid-afternoon and evening hours. KXGN-TV
KXGN-TV (channel 5) is a television station in Glendive, Montana, United States, affiliated with CBS and NBC. It is owned by Marks Radio Group alongside radio stations KXGN (1400 AM) and KDZN (96.5 FM). The three stations share studios on South Douglas Street in downtown Glendive; KXGN-TV's transmitter is located at Makoshika State Park. The station also airs news and other programs from the Montana Television Network, a network of CBS affiliates in Montana. KXGN-TV is the only television station in Glendive, reckoned as the smallest television market in the United States. Nielsen Media Research ranks it last of the 210 designated market areas for television in the United States, with just 3,900 households. KXGN (AM)
KXGN (1400 kHz) is an AM radio station in Glendive, Montana, United States. The station is owned by Glendive Broadcasting, owner of KXGN-TV and KDZN and a subsidiary of The Marks Group. KXGN signed on in 1948. Programming KXGN broadcasts a mix of oldies and adult contemporary music with local news from KXGN and national news from ABC. Ranch, farm and other agriculture-oriented news is also offered on KXGN, as Glendive is a large farming community. High School sports including Dawson County High School football, boys and girls basketball, volleyball and softball are heard on KXGN. The station also airs local American Legion, Babe Ruth and Little League baseball games in the summer.
