KDEV-LP
KDEV-LP, UHF analog channel 40, was a low-powered MeTV- affiliated television station licensed to Cheyenne, Wyoming, United States. The station was owned by Stratus Media Holdings. History A construction permit for a low-power station on channel 40 in Cheyenne was granted on March 15, 2004 and assigned the call sign K40HP; on October 4, the station's call sign was changed to KKTU-LP. On June 24, 2008, the station's call sign was changed to KDEV-LP. The station carried ABC programming from KTWO-TV, the ABC affiliate in Casper, after equipment failure of KQCK's analog facilities on June 27, 2008. In August 2009, KDEV-LP, K61DX in Laramie and K21CV in Rawlins were sold to Fusion Communications, after the bankruptcy of former owner Equity Media Holdings. KQCK (channel 39) is a religious television station licensed to Cheyenne, Wyoming, United States, serving the Cheyenne and Denver, Colorado markets as an owned-and-operated station of the Christian Television Network (CTN). The station's studios are located on East Lincoln Way (near US 30) in Cheyenne, and its transmitter is located on Horsetooth Mountain, just outside Fort Collins, Colorado. KLWY (channel 27) is a television station in Cheyenne, Wyoming, United States, affiliated with the Fox and Me-TV networks. The station is owned by Coastal Television, and maintains a transmitter southwest of Cheyenne along I-25. KLWY is a semi-satellite of KFNB (channel 20) and KWYF-LD (channel 20), the Fox and Me-TV affiliates in Casper; the two stations air nearly the same programming with separate station identifications and commercials, and KLWY is operated from KFNB's studios on Skyview Drive in Casper. Equity Media Holdings Corporation was a broadcasting company based in Little Rock, Arkansas that owned and operated television stations across the United States. Prior to March 30, 2007, the company was known as Equity Broadcasting, a name later used for its broadcast station subsidiary. The company had a focus on Hispanic and Asian American communities in large markets while owning a combination of English-language network affiliates in medium and small markets. KTWO-TV (channel 2) is a television station in Casper, Wyoming, United States, affiliated with ABC. It is owned by Vision Alaska LLC, which maintains a shared services agreement (SSA) with Coastal Television Broadcasting Company LLC, owner of Fox affiliate KFNB (channel 20), for the provision of certain services. Coastal also operates CBS affiliate KGWC-TV (channel 14) under a separate SSA with owner Big Horn Television LLC.
