KWYX (93.5 FM) is a radio station licensed to Casper, Wyoming, United States. The station is currently owned by Cochise Broadcasting LLC. The station began as a construction permit in 2006. The station received its license to cover on June 5, 2009. It has been a country station its entire life. In 2017, the FCC found that several stations owned by Cochise Broadcasting were silent, including KWYX. KWYX along with several others were agreed upon to be divested. The stations would've been converted to non-commercial status. Several of the stations in the decision were donated to the University of Wyoming. Cochise was able to keep its Casper stations. Casper Mountain
Casper Mountain, an anticline, is located at the north end of the Laramie Mountains overlooking Casper, Wyoming along the North Platte River. At a top elevation of , the geological feature rises approximately above Casper. Recreation Casper Mountain is largely privately owned, however there are several miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. There are many recreation opportunities on the mountain. Hogadon Ski Area is one of very few ski areas with a parking/entry point located above the resort. Although small, the ski area provides a large source of winter entertainment on the mountain. Other winter activities include cross country skiing, snowshoeing, fatbiking, and snowmobiling. Kaycee is a town in Johnson County, Wyoming, United States. The population was 247 at the 2020 census. It is home to a museum that preserves the cattle ranching heritage of the area, especially the history of the Johnson County War. Kaycee was incorporated in 1906 after the establishment of a small post office and general store. The town was named after the brand "KC" used by its earliest homesteader, John Nolan. The government required the name to be spelled out resulting in "Kaycee".
