Concord Municipal Airport is a public-use airport located east of the central business district of Concord, a city in Merrimack County, New Hampshire, United States. It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021, in which it is categorized as a local general aviation facility. This general aviation airport is publicly owned by the City of Concord. There was once scheduled airline service at the airport on Northeast Airlines; nearby Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in Manchester, south of Concord Airport (accessible by a 25-mile drive down the F.E. KCON (92.7 MHz) is an FM radio station broadcasting an adult hits format. Licensed to Vilonia, Arkansas, United States, it serves the Little Rock area. The station is currently owned by East Arkansas Broadcasters, through licensee EAB of Morrilton, LLC. Its studios are in Conway, and the transmitter is in Magness. History KCON started out in 1984 as KTOD-FM. Known as "The Voice of Toadsuck Country", it aired a country music format. Over the years, the station also played an adult contemporary music format in 1992, before changing to its current sports format. The call sign was changed to KASR, for "Arkansas Sports Radio", in 1996. Effective April 30, 2021, Creative Media sold KASR to East Arkansas Broadcasters for $525,000. KASR (99.3 FM ''99.3/105.5 The Eagle'') is a radio station airing a classic rock format licensed to serve Atkins, Arkansas. The station serves the Morrilton, Arkansas, area and is owned by Bobby Caldwell's East Arkansas Broadcasters, through licensee EAB of Morrilton, LLC. In 2021, EAB purchased 92.7 FM in Vilonia for $525,000. With no change in format or imaging, the call letters were switched with the new acquisition in August 2021, placing the KCON designation closer to Conway and moving the KASR call letters to the Atkins stations. KCON was a radio station broadcasting on 1230 kHz in Conway, Arkansas, United States. It operated from 1950 to 2007 and was last owned by the University of Central Arkansas (UCA). From 1950 to 1998, KCON was a private commercial station; under UCA management, it was operated by students. History Commercial years The Conway Broadcasting Company applied on April 10, 1948, for a new 250-watt radio station to serve Conway. After a comparative hearing, the Federal Communications Commission granted the application on July 26, 1950. From the first day of KCON's operation on November 13, 1950, the station had strong ties to the local Arkansas State Teachers College, today's UCA; the studios and transmitter were at the school's administration building. The KCON facilities also supported the first FM outlet in central Arkansas, KOWN (97.7 FM), which Clayton had put on the air March 5, 1949, while waiting for the AM application to be adjudicated.
