Grass Koiari Language
Grass Koiari (Koiali) is a Papuan language of Papua New Guinea spoken in the inland Port Moresby area. It is not very close to the other language which shares its name, Mountain Koiali. It is considered a threatened language. Most speakers are located in the north-eastern portion of Port Moresby, others present in the headwaters of Hunter River and Musgrave River as well as in the Motu villages of Tubuseleia, Barakau, and Gaile. Dialects Koiari has two main dialects, the Western dialect and the Eastern dialect, which is also split into two sub-dialects, the north-eastern and south-eastern dialects. The dialects share phonology and vocabulary with a few minor differences. It defines three-letter codes for identifying languages. The standard was published by International Organization for Standardization (ISO) on 1 February 2007. ISO 639-3 extends the ISO 639-2 alpha-3 codes with an aim to cover all known natural languages. KBK is an Indian graphic news agency founded by Kul Bushan Kumar (1928–2003), from whom it got its name. It is considered "the vanguard of cartography and graphic journalism in India". KBK was founded in the early 1950s, and its founder Kul Bushan Kumar had a postgraduate degree in geography. Kents Bank Railway Station
Kents Bank is a railway station on the Furness Line, which runs between and . The station, situated north-west of Lancaster, serves the village of Kents Bank in Cumbria. It is owned by Network Rail and managed by Northern Trains. History The station building was designed in 1865 by the Lancaster-based architects, Paley and Austin, for the Furness Railway. Though it remains, it is in private residential use. Facilities The station is unstaffed but now has ticket machines available, allowing passenger to buy before boarding. Shelters are located on each platform, along with digital information screens and a PA system. Kalahandi Balangir Koraput Region is a region in Odisha, India. The districts of Southern and Western Odisha are regarded as the most backward region by the planning commission, which re-designated some of these districts as KBK (Kalahandi-Balangir-Koraput). During 1992–93, the three larger districts were re-organized into eight districts viz. Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabrangpur, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Nuapada, Balangir and Sonepur District, Sonepur. These eight districts comprise 14 Subdivisions, 37 Tehsils, 80 Community development block, CD Blocks, 1,437 Gram Panchayats and 12,293 villages.
