El Khabar Broadcasting Company ( ar, هيئة الخبر للإذاعة و التّلفزيون), or simply KBC ( ar, قناة الخبر), is an Algerian private television channel, owned by El Khabar Group. It was set up on December 25, 2013, by Ali Djerri, and is headquartered in the city of Algiers. Kenya Broadcasting Corporation
Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) is the state-run media organisation of Kenya. It broadcasts in English and Swahili, as well as in most local languages of Kenya. The corporation started its life in 1928 when Kenya was a British colony. It was the first station in Kenya. In 1964, when Kenya became an independent country, the corporation's name was changed to Voice of Kenya. In 1989, the Kenyan parliament reverted the corporation's name from Voice of Kenya to Kenya Broadcasting Corporation. During the rule of president Daniel arap Moi, KBC became the mouthpiece of the government. Each broadcast opened with a piece on what the president had been doing that day. Under the then president, Mwai Kibaki, KBC took a more objective approach. The corporation helped most of Kenya's notable journalists especially before the liberalization of the airwaves in Kenya. is a broadcasting station in Fukuoka, Japan, and it is affiliated with National Radio Network (NRN) on radio and All-Nippon News Network (ANN) on TV. The Elizabeth Woodville School, in Northamptonshire, England, is a secondary school with academy status, run by the Tove Learning Trust. It was formed by the merger of Roade Sports College and Kingsbrook Specialist Business and Enterprise College (or Kingsbrook College) in 2011. KBC Band
KBC Band (also sometimes referred to as The Kantner Balin Casady Band) was formed in 1985 by former Jefferson Airplane (later Jefferson Starship) members Paul Kantner (guitar and vocals), Marty Balin (vocals and guitar) and Jack Casady ( bass). Other members included Keith Crossan (saxophone, guitar and vocals), Tim Gorman (keyboards and vocals), Slick Aguilar (guitar and vocals) and Darrell Verdusco (drums). Their sole LP, ''KBC Band'', featured the singles "America" and "It's Not You, It's Not Me." The band performed supporting tours from 1985 to 1987 before Kantner left for Nicaragua to investigate the Sandinista situation. The band did not perform after his return.
