KAMC-TV
KAMC (channel 28) is a television station in Lubbock, Texas, United States, affiliated with ABC. It is owned by Mission Broadcasting, which maintains a local marketing agreement (LMA) with Nexstar Media Group, owner of CBS affiliate KLBK-TV (channel 13), for the provision of certain services. The two stations share studios on University Avenue in south Lubbock, where KAMC's transmitter is also located. History KAMC first began broadcasting in the fall of 1968 as KSEL-TV. Originally an independent station, KSEL soon began broadcasting some ABC programming which was previously split between CBS affiliate KLBK and NBC affiliate KCBD (channel 11). After a few months of sharing secondary affiliations with the local CBS and NBC affiliates, KSEL became the primary and exclusive ABC affiliate for the Lubbock market in the fall of 1969. KVII-TV
KVII-TV (channel 7) is a television station in Amarillo, Texas, United States, affiliated with ABC and The CW Plus. Owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, the station maintains studios at One Broadcast Center between South Pierce and South Buchanan streets in downtown Amarillo, and its transmitter is located west of US 87/ 287, in unincorporated Potter County. KVIH-TV (channel 12) in Clovis, New Mexico, operates as a full-time satellite of KVII-TV; this station's transmitter is located along State Road 88 (east of Portales). KVIH-TV covers areas of northeastern and east-central New Mexico that receive a marginal to non-existent over-the-air signal from KVII-TV, although there is significant overlap between the two stations' contours otherwise. Laughlin, Nevada
Laughlin is an unincorporated resort town and census-designated place in Clark County, Nevada, United States. It is located on the Colorado River, directly across from the much larger Bullhead City, Arizona. Laughlin lies south of Las Vegas, in the far southern tip of Nevada, and is known for its gaming and water recreation. As of th2020 census the population was 8,658. The nearby communities of Bullhead City, Arizona; Needles, California; Fort Mohave, Arizona; and Mohave Valley, Arizona, bring the area's total population to about 100,000. Laughlin is also northeast of Los Angeles. Laughlin was named for Don Laughlin, an Owatonna, Minnesota, native who purchased the southern tip of Nevada in 1964 (informally called South Pointe).
