K31KV-D, virtual channel 16 ( UHF digital channel 31), known on-air as CTV, is a low-powered television station licensed to St. James, Minnesota, United States. The station is owned by the Cooperative Television Association of Southern Minnesota, an organization that operates several translator-style stations, including a few of them that rebroadcasts some of the signals of Twin Cities market stations that do not reach the St. James/Mankato area. At the time of the organization's 1993 foundation, CBS affiliate KEYC-TV (channel 12) was the only locally based full-power station in the market. Godahl, Minnesota
Godahl is an unincorporated community in Brown and Watonwan counties in the U.S. state of Minnesota. Location Godahl sits on the boundary line for Brown and Watonwan counties, occupying two counties. The community is located between Sleepy Eye and St. James on Minnesota State Highway 4. The community is located at the junction of Minnesota State Highway 4 with County Roads 6 and 10. History Godahl was settled by Norwegian immigrants and named in honor of their home, called Gode Dahl ("Good Valley"). The town had a post office from 1894 until 1907, and a station of the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis and Omaha Railway. Grit is an American free-to-air television network owned by the Katz Broadcasting subsidiary of the E. W. Scripps Company. The network features classic westerns - both TV series and films - targeted at men between the ages of 25 and 54 years old. 480i is the video mode used for standard-definition digital television in the Caribbean, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Laos, Western Sahara, and most of the Americas (with the exception of Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay). The ''480'' identifies a vertical resolution of 480 lines, and the ''i'' identifies it as an interlaced resolution.
