Junkers K 16
The Junkers K 16 was a small airliner produced in Germany in the early 1920s. It was a conventional, high-wing Cantilever#Aircraft, cantilever monoplane of all-metal construction, equipped with fixed, Conventional landing gear, tailwheel undercarriage. The pilot sat in an open cockpit, while the two passengers were provided with an enclosed Aircraft cabin, cabin within the fuselage. Shortly after the prototype flew, aircraft production in Germany was brought to a complete halt by the Allies of World War II, Allies, and the K 16 was quickly evacuated to the Netherlands to avoid confiscation. There, it was stored by Fokker until the restrictions were relaxed and work recommenced at Junkers' Dessau factory in 1924. By this time, however, the airline niche that the tiny K 16 had been intended to fill no longer existed, and the small number that were produced were mostly sold to private owners. Kelsey K-16
The Kelsey K-16 is an American, strut-braced, high-wing, two-seat, glider that was designed and constructed by William Frank Kelsey of Salt Lake City, Utah.Rogers, Bennett: ''1974 Sailplane Directory, Soaring Magazine'', page 44. Soaring Society of America, August 1974. USPS 499-920 Design and development Kelsey completed the K-16 in 1961, and first flew in that year. The aircraft has a welded steel tube fuselage and a wooden structure wing, all covered in doped aircraft fabric covering. The span wing employs a modified Göttingen airfoil. The landing gear is a center-line monowheel and a fixed skid. Only one K-16 was built and it was registered with the US Federal Aviation Administration in the '' Experimental - Amateur-built'' and the ''Racing/exhibition'' categories. Becks Grove Airport is a privately owned, public use airport located eight nautical miles (9  mi, 15  km) northwest of the central business district of Rome, a city in Oneida County, New York, United States. The former airport code for Becks Grove was NY45. It was changed to K16 in the early 2000s. Facilities and aircraft Becks Grove Airport covers an area of 120 acres (49 ha) at an elevation of 450 feet (137 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 6/24 with an asphalt surface measuring 3,000 by 23 feet (914 x 7 m). K-16 (Kansas Highway)
K-16 is a state highway in the U.S. State of Kansas. K-16's western terminus is at a junction with U.S. Route 77 (US-77) just north of Randolph and the eastern terminus is at US-24 and US-40 in Tonganoxie. Along the way K-4 intersects many major thoroughfares including US-75 in Holton, K-4 near Valley Falls and US-59 from west of Winchester to south of Oskaloosa. Route description K-16 begins north of Randolph on US-77 and crosses Tuttle Creek Lake. Near the town of Blaine, K-16 crosses The Oregon Trail. K-16 continues through Holton until turning south. The Dasan Machineries K16 is a 5.56×45mm NATO selective fire assault rifle based on DSAR15PC, which is a modified CQB variant of DSAR15P designed and manufactured by Dasan Machineries. History The Republic of Korea Armed Forces classifies K16 as submachine gun for same reason as K1A while its general characteristic is closer to assault rifle or carbine. K16 will undergo 3 years of development and 1 year of feasibility study in between 2020 and 2024, and start mass-producing by 2024.
