''K.T.S.E.'' (an initialism of ''Keep That Same Energy'') is the second studio album by American recording artist Teyana Taylor, released on June 22, 2018, by GOOD Music and Def Jam Recordings. Following the release of ''VII'' in 2014, Taylor took a step back from her music career, instead working in television, getting married and giving birth to her first child. In 2018, it was announced that Kanye West would be producing ''K.T.S.E'', with recording for the album taking place in Wyoming. It is the final of five albums released over consecutive weeks, produced by West in their entirety as a part of the "Wyoming Sessions", following the release of Pusha T's ''Daytona'', West's '' Ye'' and ''Kids See Ghosts'' with Kid Cudi, and Nas ''Nasir''. The album features a guest appearance by West, as well as additional vocals by Ty Dolla Sign and Mykki Blanco. Teyana Me Shay Jacqueli Shumpert ( Taylor; born December 10, 1990) is an American singer, actress, dancer and choreographer. In 2005, she signed a record deal with Pharrell Williams' Star Trak Entertainment imprint. Afterwards, she choreographed the music video for "Ring the Alarm" by Beyoncé. Taylor would then appear on MTV's ''My Super Sweet 16'', prior to the 2008 release of her debut single " Google Me". ''Kids See Ghosts'' is the only studio album by American hip hop duo Kids See Ghosts, composed of rapper-producers Kanye West and Kid Cudi. It was released on June 8, 2018, through Wicked Awesome Records and GOOD Music, and distributed by Def Jam Recordings. Evan Peter Mast, also known by his stage name E*vax or E.VAX, is an American electronic music artist and one-half of the New York-based electronic rock band Ratatat, alongside Mike Stroud.
