K-Plus (stylized as K+) is a Southeast Asian pay television channel focused on airing drama series, variety shows, movies and lifestyle programmes in K-pop, beauty & fashion as its main programming genre. It was launched on 17 September 2014 and it is available in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Philippines. It also offers select titles to OTT platforms iflix, LeEco and Tribe. K+ is based in Singapore and is operated by Plus Media Networks Asia, a subsidiary of South Korea-based Aniplus. Aniplus Inc. () is a South Korean television channel and anime distributor. Founded in 2004, the company also operates different businesses including a video on demand platform and a merchandising arm in its own country. Aniplus is owned by JJ MediaWorks, a VOD service provider. It distributes its programs outside its own platforms to clients such as Netflix and Coupang Play. Astro NJOI (stylised as NJOI) is a Malaysian free-to-view satellite and digital television service launched on 18 February 2012 in collaboration with the government of Malaysia and Astro. It was officially announced by Malaysia's sixth Prime Minister, Najib Razak, on 20 December 2011. At launch, the service offered 18 television channels and 19 radio stations. Existing Astro customers may also purchase this service through a separate account. NJOI is targeted at the rural and the lower household communities in Malaysia.
