K-Plus (stylized as K+) is a Southeast Asian pay television channel focused on airing drama series, variety shows, movies and lifestyle programmes in K-pop, beauty & fashion as its main programming genre. It was launched on 17 September 2014 and it is available in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Philippines. It also offers select titles to OTT platforms iflix, LeEco and Tribe. K+ is based in Singapore and is owned by Plus Media Networks, a subsidiary of South Korea-based JJ MediaWorks. History The channel was first launched in Indonesia in September 2014 on pay-TV provider K-Vision (now ceased since 2016 due to the carriage agreement, but now available on IndiHome since 2016 and Dens.TV since 2017). ANIPLUS is an Asian multinational television channel and anime distributor based in Singapore and South Korea. Launched on 7 December 2009, the channel is currently available on SK Broadband, LG Uplus IPTV service, and KT SkyLife. The company also has a video on demand platform in its own country. 1080i (also known as Full HD or BT.709) is a combination of frame resolution and scan type. 1080i is used in high-definition television (HDTV) and high-definition video. The number "1080" refers to the number of horizontal lines on the screen. The "i" is an abbreviation for "interlaced"; this indicates that only the even lines, then the odd lines of each frame (each image called a video field) are drawn alternately, so that only half the number of actual image frames are used to produce video. NJOI is a Malaysian free-to-view satellite television service launched on 18 February 2012 in collaboration with the government of Malaysia and Astro. It was officially announced by former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Najib Razak on 20 December 2011. At launch, the service provided 18 television channels and 19 radio stations. However, existing Astro customers may purchase this service through separate account. At launch, the set-up which consist of a set-top box, Out-Door Unit (ODU) satellite dish, smartcard and remote control unit, was available at a one-time payment of RM 305 at all Astro authorised retailers, with a standard installation fee of RM 100 from an Astro-authorised installer as stated on the website.
