K. V. Rabiya
Kariveppil Rabiya (born 1966) is a physically challenged social worker from Vellilakkadu, Malappuram, Kerala in India who rose to prominence through her role in the Literacy in India#Kerala, Kerala State Literacy Campaign in Malappuram district in 1990. Her efforts were recognized at a national level by the Government of India on multiple occasions. In 1994, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (India), Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India awarded her the National Youth Award for her contributions to society. In January 2001, she was awarded the first ''Kannagi Sthree Sakthi Puraskar'' award for the year 1999 for her contribution to upliftment and empowerment of women. She was awarded India's fourth highest civilian award Padma Shri in January 2022. Mtaileb or Mtayleb ( ar, المطيلب) is a suburb north of Beirut in the Matn District of Mount Lebanon Governorate in Lebanon. Mtaileb I Mtaileb I or Rabiya is an archaeological site located east northeast of Antelias in a wooded ravine next to a road that zig-zags upwards to the Rabiya Club. The site was discovered by Auguste Bergy in 1941 and a Heavy Neolithic assemblage of the Qaraoun culture consisting of enormous flint tools was collected and now held in the Museum of Lebanese Prehistory marked "1,500 m - 1,800m E.N.E. Antelias". The tools were studied by Jacques Cauvin and said to be made of impure Upper Jurassic flint. The area is now well built up with widely spaced villas and contains flint outcrops under the soil. Mary Puthisseril Verghese (1925–1986) was a physician in India who was among the earliest pioneers of Physical medicine and rehabilitation in the country. Mary Verghese was instilled in a home where love and respect were two main factors in their close knit family. She was caring of others and wanted to give back to her community in any way that she could. In 1963, she took charge of what was the first department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with an inpatient facility in India at the Christian Medical College, Vellore. She was instrumental in expanding the services of the department with the establishment of the first inpatient rehabilitation institute of the country in 1966. In recognition of her contributions to the field of medicine, she was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 1972. Joseph Mundassery (17 July 1903 – 25 October 1977) was a literary critic and Indian politician from Kerala state. He specialised in the Malayalam language and literature. In Kerala politics, he is remembered as the Education Minister who was behind the controversial Education Bill of the first EMS communist ministry of 1957. Early life Joseph Mundassery was born at Kandasankadavu, Thrissur. After his schooling locally he took his bachelor's degree in Physics and later a master's degree in Sanskrit and Malayalam. K. M. Seethi Sahib (1899—1961), born K. M. Seethi, was an Indian politician and community leader from Kerala. He served as the Speaker of Kerala Assembly during 1960-61 ( Pattom A. Thanu Pillai Ministry). Seethi Sahib, born in 1899 in an affluent family in Kodungallur in the Cochin state, enrolled as an Advocate in Madras High Court in 1927 and started practice in Cochin. He started his political career with the Congress Party. He was elected to the Cochin Council twice (1928 and 1931) as a Congress member. During the mid-1930s when the Muslim League ceased to cooperate with the Congress, Seethi Sahib and colleagues started organising the Muslim League in Malabar District.
