Jarella is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Along with Betty Ross Banner and Caiera, she was one of the Hulk's great loves. The character was introduced in ''The Incredible Hulk'' vol. 2 #140 (May 1971). Jarella was created by Roy Thomas, Herb Trimpe and American science fiction author Harlan Ellison, who was the guest writer for that issue. Publication history Jarella first appeared in ''The Incredible Hulk'' vol. 2 #140 (June 1971) as a one-off character in a plot by guest writer Harlan Ellison. She was brought back in issue #148, another tale by a guest plotter, in this case Chris Claremont in his first published story. Though Jarella's actual appearances would continue to be sporadic, she became a major driving force in the plot and characterizations of the Hulk for several years. Psyklop
Psyklop is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created in combination by Harlan Ellison, Roy Thomas, Sal Buscema and Jim Mooney, the character first appears '' Avengers'' #88. Sandy Plunkett
Charles "Sandy" Plunkett (born October 18, 1955) is an American artist and comics writer. He worked on several different series for Marvel Comics and DC Comics in the 1970s and 1980s. Early life Plunkett grew up in New York City and began to draw comics at the end of high school. Career He assisted the Crusty Bunkers at Neal Adams' Continuity Studios in the 1970s. Plunkett's first credited work was a one-page illustration in ''Savage Tales'' #11 (July 1975) published by Marvel Comics. He drew various short stories for Marvel, DC Comics, and Gold Key Comics over the next several years. Plunkett collaborated with writer Mike W. Barr on a Spider-Man/Scarlet Witch team-up story for ''Marvel Fanfare'' #6 (Jan. 1983). He worked on the New Universe titles as well as a Daredevil serial in '' Marvel Comics Presents''.
