Early life

Plunkett grew up in New York City and began to draw comics at the end of high school.


Career

He assisted the Crusty Bunkers at Neal Adams' Continuity Studios in the 1970s. Plunkett's first credited work was a one-page illustration in '' Savage Tales'' #11 (July 1975) published by Marvel Comics.
