Jyderup Boldklub
Jyderup is an old town with a population of 4,325 in Holbæk Municipality (1 January 2022) in northwestern Zealand, Denmark. It is positioned roughly halfway between the larger cities of Kalundborg and Holbæk on the west and east, respectively, and is surrounded by forest and farmland. The town is bordered on the west by the lake of Skarresø. Jyderup is split in two parts divided by the road between Holbæk and Kalundborg named ''Skovvejen'' (English: ''Forest Road''). The northeastern part is the oldest, containing the 13th-century church. The southwestern part was built when the railroad was constructed in the early 1900s, and contains most of the shops and stores in the town. In early 2008, the town library was also moved to this part, when the townhall building stood empty, after Tornved Municipality became part of Holbæk Municipality in 2007, and the local authority was moved out of the town for the sake of centralization. Region Zealand
Region Zealand ( da, Region Sjælland) is the southernmost administrative region of Denmark, established on 1 January 2007 as part of the 2007 Danish Municipal Reform, which abolished the traditional counties ("amter") and set up five larger regions. Holbæk Municipality
Holbæk municipality is a municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') in northwestern Region Sjælland on the island of Zealand (''Sjælland'') in Denmark. The municipality includes the island of Orø, and covers an area of 583 km², and has a total population of 69,010 (2008). Its mayor is Christina Krzyrosiak Hansen, a member of the Social Democrats (Denmark) and the youngest mayor ever in Denmark. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the city of Holbæk. On 1 January 2007 Holbæk municipality was, as the result of ''Kommunalreformen'' ("The Municipal Reform" of 2007), merged with existing Jernløse, Svinninge, Tornved, and Tølløse municipalities to form a new Holbæk municipality. Statistics Denmark ( da, Danmarks Statistik) is a Danish governmental organization under the Ministry of the Interior and Housing and which reports to the Minister of Economic and Internal Affairs. The organization is responsible for creating statistics on the Danish society, for example employment statistics, trade balance, and demographics. Zealand (Denmark)
Zealand ( da, Sjælland ) at 7,031 km2 is the largest and most populous island in Denmark proper (thus excluding Greenland and Disko Island, which are larger in size). Zealand had a population of 2,319,705 on 1 January 2020. It is the 13th-largest island in Europe by area and the 4th most populous. It is connected to Sprogø and Funen by the Great Belt Fixed Link and to Amager by several bridges in Copenhagen. Tornved Municipality
Until 1 January 2007 Tornved municipality was a municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') in the former West Zealand County on the island of Zealand (''Sjælland'') in Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 105 km², and had a total population of 9,135 (2005). Its last mayor was Jens Stenbæk, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party.
