Juventude Atlético do Moxico, simply known Juventude do Moxico, and formerly known as Inter do Moxico is a football (soccer) club from Luena, Moxico province, Angola. The club was relegated from the Angolan Premier Division, Girabola in the end of the 2007 championship. History On November 23, 2006, Inter Clube 4 de Junho do Moxico was renamed to its current name, Grupo Desportivo Atlético Juventude do Moxico. Luena, formerly known as Luso, is a city and municipality in eastern Angola, administrative capital of Moxico Province. The municipality had a population of 357,413 in 2014. Girabola
Girabola, or ''Campeonato Nacional de Futebol em Séniores Masculinos'', is the top division of Angolan football. It is organized by the Angolan Football Federation. The league winner and runner-up qualify for the CAF Champions League. Girabola ZAP In January 2016, Angolan subscription TV satellite and cable provider ZAP, the Angolan Football Federation and the Girabola clubs, signed a three-year deal in which ZAP will have broadcast rights over all Girabola matches. As part of the deal, the Angolan state-owned TV station TPA will be allowed to broadcast one game per week on its free-view platform. 2007 Girabola
The 2007 Girabola was the 29th season of the top-tier football league in Angola. The season ran from 14 February to 21 October 2007. Primeiro de Agosto were the defending champions. The league comprised 14 teams, the bottom three of which were relegated to the 2008 Gira Angola. Petro Atlético de Luanda were crowned champions, while Académica do Soyo, Atlético do Namibe and Juventude do Moxico were relegated. Manucho Gonçalves of Petro de Luanda finished as the top scorer with 14 goals. Moxico (province)
Moxico (Portuguese spelling) or Moshiko (Bantu spelling) is the largest province of Angola. It has an area of , and covers 18% of the landmass of Angola. The province has a population of 758,568 (2014 census) and a population density of approximately 3.4 residents per km² (8.8/sq mi), making it one of the most sparsely populated areas of Angola. Segundona aka Torneio de Apuramento ''(Qualification Tournament)'' or Gira Angola is the 2nd division of Angolan football (soccer). It is organized by the Angolan Football Federation and gives access to Angola's top tier football division Girabola. Unlike most league systems worldwide, Angola does not have a regular second-tier league system. The teams that are relegated from the top-tier league in Angola, the Girabola, are relegated to the provincial championship from which they originate, the so-called provincial stages.
