Idrettslaget Jutul is a Norwegian sports club from Bærum, Akershus. It covers the areas Skui and Vøyenenga. History It was founded in 1930 as AIL Viking, a Workers' Sport Confederation club. It has sections for association football, ice hockey, volleyball and Nordic skiing/ athletics. It is named after a Norwegian word for the Jötunn in Norse mythology. Ivar Ramstad
Ivar Ramstad (3 February 1924 – 26 April 2009) was a Norwegian discus thrower. He worked as a farmer at the farm Nygjerdet, between Røra and Straumen, and also had a career in Gjensidige. His brother Jon Ramstad was mayor of Levanger. His personal best throw was 52.32 metres, achieved in July 1948 on Bislett Stadion. This stood as a Norwegian record in the discus throw for eleven years. It is still the county record for Nord-Trøndelag. Per Stavem (1 March 1926 – 24 September 2006) was a Norwegian shot putter and discus thrower. He represented Stabæk IF. Biography At the 1948 Summer Olympics he competed in the decathlon and finished eleventh with 6151 points. At the 1952 Summer Olympics he finished eighth in the shot final with 16.02 metres and sixteenth in discus throw with 46.00 metres. He became Norwegian champion in shot put in 1951 and 1952. Sten ("Stein") Jean Johnson (20 October 1921 – 28 April 2012) was a Norwegian speed skating trainer and Athletics (sport), athlete. He was born in Bergen and is the nephew of Sonja Johnsson. Johnson was a competitor in discus throw in the 1948 Summer Olympics, 1948 (where he finished eighth) and 1952 Summer Olympics. Norwegian Third Division
The Norwegian Third Division, also called 3. divisjon, is the fourth highest division of the men's football league in Norway. Like the rest of the Norwegian football league system, the season runs from spring to autumn, running approximately from April to October. After the 2010 season, the league was reorganised, reducing the number of teams to 164 and halving the number of parallel sections from 24 to 12. After the 2016 season, the league was again reorganised, reducing the number of teams from 164 to 84, and halved the number of groups from twelve to six. All six group winners promote to 2. divisjon, while the bottom four in all groups are relegated to 4. divisjon.
