Justin Eichorn
Justin Eichorn (born May 7, 1984) is an American politician and member of the Minnesota Senate. A member of the Republican Party of Minnesota, he represents District 5 in north-central Minnesota. Early life, education, and career Eichorn attended Itasca Community College and Concordia University. He served on the Grand Rapids Housing and Redevelopment Authority. Minnesota Senate Eichorn was elected to the Minnesota Senate in 2016. He ran for the Minnesota House of Representatives in District 5B in 2014, losing to incumbent Tom Anzelc. Tom Saxhaug
Tom Saxhaug (born February 22, 1948) is a Minnesota politician and former member of the Minnesota Senate. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), he represented District 5, which included portions of Beltrami, Cass, Hubbard, and Itasca counties in the northern part of the state. Early life, education, and career Saxhaug completed his secondary education at Grand Rapids High School in Grand Rapids and later received a B.A. from St. Olaf College in Northfield. Prior to his election to the Senate, he served on the Grand Rapids City Council from 1995 to 1997, and was an Itasca County Commissioner from 1997 to 2003. He is a retired insurance agent. Tom Anzelc
Thomas Anzelc (born October 4, 1946) is a Minnesota politician and former member of the Minnesota House of Representatives. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party, he represented District 5B in northern Minnesota. Early life, education, and career Anzelc attended Nashwauk- Keewatin High School, graduating in 1964, then went on to Hibbing Junior College in Hibbing, receiving his A.A. in 1966, and to St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, receiving his B.S. of Political Science in 1968. He later attended graduate school at the Humphrey Institute branch at the University of Minnesota in Duluth. He was a civics teacher and a basketball and cross country coach in Hibbing, and also worked as legislative coordinator for the Laborers Union District Council of Minnesota and North Dakota for 12 years.
