''Just Say Yes'' is a 2021 Dutch romantic comedy film directed by Appie Boudellah and Aram van de Rest, written by Appie Boudellah, Mustapha Boudellah, Marie Kiebert, and Maarten van den Broek and starring Yolanthe Cabau, Huub Smit, and Jim Bakkum. The film was released on 2 April 2021 by Netflix. Plot 33-year-old Lotte works as a producer for the TV channel Regio Fun in the A'DAM Toren, where her boyfriend Alex has his own talk show. Lotte has been in a relationship with him for five years and, being the romantic she is, has long been hoping in vain for a marriage proposal. The TV studio has been struggling with poor ratings for some time and Lotte is working hard on a pitch for a new program that should become a ratings cannon. Yolanthe Cabau
Yolanthe Cabau ( Cabau van Kasbergen; 19 March 1985) is a Spanish-Dutch actress, model and television host. Early life Cabau was born on the Spanish island of Ibiza. Her father, Xavier Cabau (1954–2007), was Spanish, while her mother, Richarda "Rici" van Kasbergen, is Dutch. Xavier Cabau was a wealthy entrepreneur known as the "King of Ibiza", who owned several discothèques, restaurants, and bars. Cabau's childhood in Spain was marked by domestic violence, after her father experienced financial problems and became addicted to drugs. When she was five years old, her mother moved with her children to her native Netherlands. She has seven siblings, as well as five half-siblings from her father's second marriage. Jim Bakkum
Jimmy Johannes Bakkum (born 10 August 1987) is a Dutch singer, actor, stage actor and television personality. Rising to nationwide fame after becoming runner-up in the first season of Dutch singing competition series '' Idols'', he has released five albums and made a career in musicals and film. In television, he appeared in a Dutch version of ''Dancing with the Stars'', which he won. Career As a child, Bakkum was encouraged to sing and act by his parents. He started a band with his older brother Danny and also performed in amateur theatre productions. In 2002, his brother suggested that he audition for the Dutch TV talent programme '' Idols''.
